Was hast du in deiner Hand?
Psalm 23 for the Working Man
The Lord is my real boss, and I shall not want.
He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me.
He gently reminds me to pray and do all things without murmuring and complaining.
He reminds me that He is my source and not my job.
He restores my sanity every day and guides my decisions that I might honor Him in all that I do.
Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mails, system crashes, unrealistic deadlines, budget cutbacks, gossiping co-workers, discriminating supervisors and an aging body that doesn’t cooperate every morning, I still will not stop – for He is with me!
His presence, His peace, and His power will see me through.
He raises me up, even when they fail to promote me.
He claims me as His own, even when the company threatens to let me go.
His faithfulness and love is better than any bonus check.
His retirement plan beats any 401K there is!
When it’s all said and done, I’ll be working for Him a whole lot longer and for that, and I will Bless His Name!
Amen.
[Thanks Amain Monticello!]
Islam, welche Fragen gilt es zu klären?
Sollten wir ausgehend von den aktuellen Diskusionen in unserer Gesellschaft rund um den Islam, nicht mehr mit dem Koran auseinandersetzen.

Missional Church
What if instead of getting people to come inside, you were getting people to go out? This is what our church should be ... a place where people are send to there neighbors to serve them and to have fun with them ... Life is fantastic when we can share it with the people which are around us

Invisible.
Invisible.: "
One of my goals has always been to be the best darn father ever. I can’t say that I’ve been that.
It’s the small things that my daughter wants and needs; she’s not asking for the world. She just wants enough time for her to be able to express herself and for me to enjoy the things she enjoys because she believes with absolute certainty that I’ll enjoy them as well.
She’s wrong. I don’t always enjoy playing “elephante’s house” but she’s right in that I do enjoy her, watching her create a narrative with a hammer, a few stuffed toys, a beat-up hand-me-down playhouse, and a wild imagination.
Thank you God for my daughter and for her beautiful spirit of energy! I won’t take it for granted. I don’t ever want her to feel invisible
